I used one for the secrets that I couldn't find in TRL, but AFTER I had finished the game. Other than that, nope

I used one in TRIII on RX Tech Mines, only for 5 minutes... Oh and in Legend, in that Peru puzzle I couldn't find the ball that you had to grapple stupid me...

Call me a looser… I use walkthroughs all the time, I wouldn't have managed to finish a single TR game without it. In fact, I didn't finish some TR games even though I did have a walkthrough, but that was due to technical difficulties (TR1 and TR3) or the game getting boring (AoD). I managed mostly without one in Legend, but I still did check for the official hints on how to defeat the boss enemies in all cases.

Well, I had technical difficulties years ago when I tried to install it on my 60 Mhz Pentium I had at the time… Then I could never get it to run on Windows 2000… and now, when I've finally found websites that explain how I could get it running, I can no longer find my CD.

I use one in conjunction with playing,
but usually play ahead and check to see if
I missed anything or the wrong turn at the
wrong time. I like to see everything and find
all Secrets. And kill all enimies.

I use it but only if I really can't figure it out.
