Default ? about graphics comparisons

I just got tomb raider 1-4 to play on my ps2. Are the graphics better on ps2 or pc? I have been looking at some pc screen shots and seems they are a little bit better.

I played on PS, but PC it would really depend on the quality.

Good graphics card: good quality graphics

so-so graphics card: so-so quality.

Called dithering

Also antialiasing, but I doubt it can be applied to PS2 games

Not the same thing.

Texture filtering smoothens the textures. Dithering in old TR games smoothed posterization 'cause the scenes were not rendered in true colour. Dithering is creating a pattern of different coloured pixels so it gives the impresion of blending.
