How do you think they are going to keep the ending interesting?
This game is a prequel, so its obvious that Lara in the end in whatever way gets of the island. Yet how are they going to create an interesting ending when we already know what's going to happen. Maybe how she gets off the island in an unexpected and strange way or the build up to the ending is massive so the ending itself is relaxed and ends the game quite nicely.

No doubt the end will be awesome, but one thing at a time. I'm just wondering if this game is going to be it's own adventure or it will be part of a trilogy.
Oh and it's actually not a prequal. This is a different Tomb Raider universe. |

I honestly think the ending won't be all that fascinating. She'll probably just get off the island. I'm guessing it will be a like the TR 1-3 endings, where she kinda just gets out of there and the credits roll. Unless, of course, CD plan to do a direct sequel.

The only thing I ask for is for it to not be a cliffhanger. We need at least one standalone game after all these years, we haven't had one since... TR III (not counting Anniversary, as it is a remake yet they still managed to connect it to the previous and next game). Wow.

We don't know that Lara gets off the island actually.
CD could make the rest of the series on that island for all we know. The fact that we know she survives and can guess she will get off the island does mean the ending needs to hold something more interesting. CD can get me interested weith their stories. We just needs some intense mystery surrounding whatever artifacts or things Lara is trying to get or fix or whatever. |

I really don't care. I just want TR10's story to be completely unrelated.

I must agree with alot of you I really want the games to stand alone , yet with slight indications of the games before them but not massively linked.

Lara is going to blow up the island, run for her life and escape with a motorboat she hijacked from the villain.
OH WAIT. |
