But I wonder why other people are making unique poses already???
Unique meaning it's something different and it is not used most of the time.
For example a waving pose. Basically, it's just a pose. But somehow I don't find myself using this pose all the time.

I don't intend to start a conflict with other contributors to this thread, but I really think people should make generic poses so that it will help more to people. Take a look at my contirbutions. I made the ponytail down pose, which is helpful to almost all complete poses. Why? Because it's a generic pose which can be used on ALL situations.

So in order to increase this thread's popularity, i think people should make poses that can really help making posing easier in most situations.

Some good generic poses that I noticed was the Swan Dive Pose, The Handgun holding pose, and etc. They can be used on all situations. Get it?

By just making a special pose won't really help in making a library of poses for XNA Lara. It has to be something simple yet it can be used on most situations.

Oh maybe contributors who wish to post their contributions here, I hope they think about how their pose can help a lot of people in XNA Lara.

I hope people understand
you right in most of your points, RetardedRaider.

the purpose was to get more generic poses, but currently i'm happy about any contribution. and sometimes a pose file has to be more complex than a hand only or something, e.g. riding a motorcycle. and even a full pose can be useful as a starting point for own creations.

i hope you don't mind to have posted a full pose, too . that had two reasons:
- it was in work in progress mode for quite some time and had to be finished.
- and it gives a good example to re-use a generic pose.

let's hope this thread don't dies because of inactivity

@ LARA_geek: thank you for contributing your Natla & Hamma poses

NOTICE TO CONTRIBUTORS WHO UPLOAD POSES OF MODDED MODELS:

I don't think that mod poses can be considered in this thread. Remember that in order to load a pose you also must have the model. So if you don't have, for example, a modded Natla model, and you downloaded a pose for this model, it won't work because you don't have the model.

So in order to post poses of mods, you must also put a link on where you got that mod, or if ever you own it, post it in a file hosting service so that other people can download the mod too. Along with the pose.
but i've noticed that it is possible to apply a lot of poses to different models, RetardedRaider.

I guess, maybe it only applies to certain mods?
I hope I wasn't too rude in sharing some of my opinions
I'm sorry if i ever offended anyone
And I will make full poses soon

first: No you weren't rude in sharing some of your opinions. earnest opinions and comments are always welcome (to me).

of course it helps saving time to share part of poses. As i said before I havn't used one yet that may because I do all myself, I love to do it all myself (crazy perfectionist) and have a lot of fun most of the time. except i'm in hurry, but when u hurry the outcome looses quality. so that's where the partial poses come in handy.

on the other side even full poses can be helpful. you can work with them the same way as with partial poses. load 'em and change em the way u want/need.

by the way I added the DL link for the mods on my older post.

Thank you so much for the facial expressions RetardedRaider
Do you think anytime soon you'll make a new hoist of a little more subtler ones? Just a few would be nice - I can't think of any situation for the slightly more extreme ones you've got already

LARA_geek Post your render requests here and I will take a look at them
This is tarcairion's thread for poses
