1. Mexico Aw, so pretty. Pity we couldn't get to the prettiest, most interesting bits, but still.
2. Thailand Another pretty area.

3. All the rest - not particularly inspiring. Especially ships where there were lots of doors you couldn't get in, underwater areas with not a lot to see or do, and a pointlessly, burning mansion.

There were some bits in the hammers section which felt quite scary (balancing on thin ledges) and deserve a mention though.

What this game really suffers from is stuff to do. It feels very empty when you play it, there's no depth at all.

1.Thailand - beautiful level, a great feeling of adventure and discovery
2.Mexico – a darker level, mysterious with a genuine sense of isolation
3.Croft Manor – a fun excursion with an interesting pace
4.Mediterranean – a good intro to the game, a level with a good vibe and pretty things to see
5.Jan Mayen, Artic sea and both ships – felt unfinished and/or rushed. Very dull and uninspired.

I - Thailand, it was so beautiful and fun. Just awesome.
II - Croft Manor and Jan Mayen, especially the room with swinging hammers. Made my jaw drop. (Great)
III - Amanda's ships, i like it when lara is in an urban environment. Though CD didnt have to copy/paste entire ship.(good)
IV - Mediterranean sea. It was a nice set of levels. (OK)
V -Mexico, ok, but dull. Entire level I couldn't tell wheter it was day or night. Everything was gray and uninteresting. Yawn.
VI - Arctic sea, it features two things I just can't stand in video games : 1. Endless underwater sections, 2. Respawning enemies.

I've got some time to kill, and I always enjoy a good lampooning of Underworld. My choices are influenced by the DLC...
  • Croft Manor
Made completely awesome by the Beneath the Ashes DLC.
  • Southern Mexico
Would've been my number one if I didn't have the DLC. The first section with the bike is crap, but getting around the Lords of Xibalba room later on is excellent, the same goes for the Midgard Serpent room.
  • Coastal Thailand
Pretty colours, lots of foliage and that awesome Naga garden area. Seriously spoilt by constant invisible walls.
  • Mediterranean Sea
Dark and gloomy level, it's linear and padded with backtracking.
  • Arctic Sea
Too much swimming for a rubbish puzzle at the start, boring underwater maze followed by an obstacle course of a room filled with eitr. Then a tedious puzzle of a last boss. And the padded PoP rip-off that is Lara's Shadow doesn't make it any better.
  • Jan Mayen Island
Crap bike bit, tedious climbing bit, crap bike maze, crap ledge hopping, awesome hammer swinging.
  • Andaman Sea
Why is this even a level? The other boat bit at the end of Med Sea was much better.

There was a lot of blue, a lot of brown, a good amount of red, and that's pretty much it if we're not including green.

I only noticed the initial blue water, some barely red columns due to old age, and everything else being green or grey.

The water is blue, the sky is blue.

The columns are red, the stronger nagas are red, and some flowers are red

The tigers are orange

And the soil and rock was brown.
