When to release in the Fall?
The fall release schedule is rapidly filling up.
Sleeping Dogs – August 17 Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 - August 21 Dark Souls (PC) – August 24 Madden NFL 13 – August 28 Far Cry 3 – September 4 Borderlands 2 – September 18 Epic Mickey 2 - September 26 Resident Evil 6 – October 2 BioShock Infinite – October 16 Medal of Honor: Warfighter – October 23 Assassin's Creed III – October 30 Halo 4 – November 6 And there should be a COD game also released in November. The competition in October and November is tough. My feeling is that a very late Nov or early Dec might be better than any October or early Nov release. The alternative would be a September release, but from a development perspective later is always better. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/a...nto-shape.aspx Last edited by Samsdad; 20-04-12 at 14:49. |

I have a feeling it'll be November, same as TRU was.

well , it was have a shot as long as it's released BEFORE COD 9 i think, then it won't make any money because people will be wasting theirs on that, september will be nice, it's before RE6 and will again make more money

If someone's going to buy COD 9, they're going to buy COD 9. If TR grabs they're interest more, they'll buy TR. Some might buy both.
I highly doubt the game being released after COD is going to see many people changing their purchases. A least only a very small percentage. :/ |

Its just marketing I guess. I know when it comes to CDs if Im runing low on money (or even if Im being a penny pincher) I end up only buying one of the CDs.. Anyways it just means if there was no competition then would people would most likely buy it anyways (but Im sure you knew that).

I think September may be too early. October would be ideal. It's not too far away from Christmas and it's not too late in the Fall.
