Bratz are better:

edit: I had probably too many Barbie's as a kid, I guess this is kind of just a general dolls thread, but most will have heard of Barbie. I wish I had kept them in better condition.

Bratz are like a secondhand, poor man's bootleg version of Barbie.

Then I'm prayin for MyScene, you know what I mean?

lol. But let's not shade our own thread.

I admit I liked Kayla better than Barbie. #redheads.

edit: omfg. I just googled Kayla and I totally forgot about this line:

This was the coolest, I love the campy, magical, Halloween/ creepy, mystical themes and this doll was perfect. And she was like, the epitome of my poor fashion sense as a kid, wearing dat crazy green vest over the pants. Ug. I loved her. <3

edit: WAIT. Stop. You could drink the stuff, you could make a potion and drink it. I think it tasted horrible.

Yes, I had the Fantasy Mermaid Barbies and the Fairytopia ones. BUUUUT. After that they made all of their tales one hard plastic...blob. :/

BTW, I liked the faces better around the time of the pic I posted above. I don't know how their faces are now, but I liked the more serious, fierce look.

edit: And they need to quit with this painting on the mermaid top. Uh no pleeze.

Dance N Flex will always be my favorite. She's completly made out of rubber, too.

I remember the first time i got her i played with her in the bathroom to keep my dog from trying to get her ;__;

it literally looks like someone chopped off her feet in the last picture, or like she has hooves.

edit: I hate how generic Barbie's face is compared to Christie and Kayla in the Mermaid Fantasy, it's just so bland. I guess I'm just used to it. IDK.
