The music is much better, damn! And her face is better, but it could just be the low res texture of it/lighting/curtain of fringe they had covering it in the final.

Interesting videos! I love these kind of videos, to see the progress from alpha to final product, and spot all the differences!
About the model, I can't decide which is better, as to me both early and final model are a bit... Mehh. It's weird tho, why did they decided to glue her hair together, now it looks bad imo.. And that cutscene with big Oni! It's amazing, I'd like to hear the reason why Crystal decided to cut it. |

LOL.. sounds and looks much more like Lara than the final version.
This tends to happen a lot in games - where an earlier version looks better. I mean, look at what happened to a few Resident Evil games (looks at RE4) I like how she says "I will become a raider" Phhf - well she didn't do too much of that in Rise either. I thought there was a tradition in TR history... Alpha is better than rhe final version ( looking at you tr1,tr2,tr3,tr4,tr5,traod,trl,tra,tru) ... I can make a list of ALL the thing that ere cut from thoose games...

People tend to overestimate and glorify things, which they weren't given a chance to have a first-hand experience with. For all we know most of the alpha stuff could've been totally boring and barely playable. We only saw bits and pieces of it.
