Hi and welcome to TRF Tech Support section.

1. Don't use Autorun menus to install any of old (TR1-TRC) TR games, browse to the installation CD/folder and run Setup.exe manually.

2. After you complete all installations run TR XP/Vista Multipatcher to make them Vista compatible.

3. To help us help you please provide more details: what TR exactly returns you error messages?

4. It may be helpful to disable DEP service under Vista before installation.

5. If you still get any issues/troubles, run Diagnose.exe and post the whole report here.

^ What collection exactly? You can post a picture of the box or a link to the site where you ordered it.
  • what TR versions?
  • how many discs?
  • what TR versions give you troubles? or all?

And try following the advice above first

1. Go to Control panel > Administrative tools > Computer management > Disk management.

2. Right click your E: drive and select "Change drive letter or path", assign letter X to this drive, press OK.

3. Right click your T: drive (physical DVD-drive) and select "Change drive letter or path", assign letter E to this drive, press OK.

4. Now right click your X: drive and select "Change drive letter or path", assign letter T (now available) to this drive, press OK.

5. Put TR1 CD into DVD-drive (now E: ), quit autorun menu and run TRAI.

6. If you can't install TR1 via TRAI:
  • install Glidos (follow recommendations on the site)
  • install VDOS32 (follow recommendations on the site)
  • install preconfigured TR1 package from Glidos site
  • put TR1 cd into DVD-drive (now E: ), quit autorun menu
  • configure Glidos to use VDOS32 and run TR1 via Glidos
