Default Help with Tombati windows 10

so here's the deal, i had to get a new laptop as mine died, i was running windows 8.1 on it, i used Tombati with no problems what so ever, now with my new laptop on windows 10 (which is better than my old) i'm having troubles, with the steam version it runs perfectly, no lag or anything but with Tombati is has EXTREME lag to the point it takes forever just to get to the menu... all my drivers are up to date...anyone know how to fix it?

Hi, and welcome to the forums

Would you mind posting your new Laptop's specs? That might help getting to the bottom of it.

Hmm... that might be a problem. There's a lot of posts concerning frame-rate issues on Win10 + Intel Integrated Graphics (especially the i3 series).

Some people got it to work by installing the original 1.1 version from barracuda415 - others have reported that disabling vsync in the patch ini file improved things.

Unfortunately I don't know if anyone actually found a solution. You could do a quick search for the keyword 'intel' in this forum and work through the hits.

Which version of the ATI patch are you running? Are you using Barricuda's patch or the Glidos fork?

I had problems with 1.7 and lag on my old laptop. Downgrade to version 1.1 or 1.2.

I did not notice any lag on Windows 10 and integrated GPU of i5-3210M with latest glrage. But movie sequences are randomly freezing or looping.
