I personally haven't seen the developers claim such a thing, however gaming sites have. The only reason I think such comparisons are made because one of the men who worked on Oblivion is in on this.

I loved the demo, I only experienced 1 bug... I played through the demo once and replayed it, and since I didnt wanna see the cutscenes again I skipped them. After I skipped the first few I appeared at the beginning with no head xD It took 10 seconds for the head to load. Then I skipped another cutscene and the scientist dude who made me come back to life had no head either for a few seconds xD Apart from that I loved it a load! The combat seems cool, cant wait to buy it and unlock new powers I can get, plus the storyline seems very interesting

IGN has been doing a 'Review in Progress' for this game.
It can be read here: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Review in progress

First review here.

Yeah, it's by IGN, but it still dooesn't sound like a bad game.

(Triple Post? >_>)

Well the game releases tomorrow, and a livestream is playing now. http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mis...g-played-live/

So far it has an 83 on metacritic...so it's not a complete waste of time? 80 is a good score.

I do plan on picking this up... I just don't know when.

I was super excited for this before Soul Calibur V came out. Now I haven't thought twice about it.

I picked this game up last week, absolutely loving every second of it. I like the exploring part of it the most. Brilliant game.
And yes I know its a bump but I didn't see any other thread.

Too bad not everyone thought that as the developers folded.

I got bored of this game very quickly, unfortunately.
