Lara's Face Texture
Alright guys i got a question concerning Lara's face texture in TRA. I'm new to this, but used to mod GTA3 and I noticed that there, there's only half a face as the face mirrors in game. Does Lara's face do this, or have I just not found the other half yet?

Yeah, it's only one side. It flips and repeats itself on the other side, in-game.

Thanks dizzy. I'll have my first mod, which turns Lara into WWE's Mickie James, up soon

It kind of makes it easier for modding actually, because whatever you do on one side perfectly mirrors on the other. But it's tough if you want her to have something on one side and not the other!

Problem. I edited the hair and face to be Mickies. I put it in the game, but everything's still Lara's. What did I do wrong?

Are you using texmod there?

You have to package rebuild after modding textures, with a new name
Then go to package mode. Then actually Click on the new package name (thats likely what you have not done). The 'created by' bit will then come up with writing. Make sure no other previous package names are there, (use delete to get rid of them). OK, you now are ready to run. SNEAKY TRICK to sort it, if it still fails Go into your OUT file in your texmod program and click on the TexMod (notepad) file. Now swap some of the text lines around (try getting the lines that have the textures you are concerned with moved somewhere else on the list), do not lose any. Then save the texmod notepad file. Then do package rebuild again, package mode, then run. That usually sorts it out. Cheers Chi |
