Of course, I have converted the model for the latest XNALara version greater than 9.8.1 http://*************************/t158-x...ing-studio-103 using the GeMeshAsciiToBinV2 and ModPublisherV2 http://*************************/t138-xnalara-981 If you want to use the model with a previous version: The Generic_Item.mesh.ascii file is includet. You can use this file with the old GeMeshAsciiToBin converter http://*************************/t18-ge...ture-utility-s Last edited by XNAaraL; 27-08-11 at 16:17. |

Habe großes Problem
Hi miteinander.

Aber beim Ersten Male gehe lieber auf Nummer sicher sicher (Germany's Next Topmodel) Last edited by XNAaraL; 27-08-11 at 18:25. |

Hi! Im using 9.9.4 version, and she too, but I didn't use modpublisherv2, I dind't have idea that can make problems .
I just used modpublisherv2, pasted the .mesh file , the readme and the textures in the new folder. Is enough? That should work? Thanks for your help ^^ |

Some ask me to write a tutorial about 'Weight painting'.
There are already so many. For example: http://www.tutorials-expert.com/tuto...-painting.html Please read this http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html Code:
Choose your forum carefully Be sensitive in choosing where you ask your question. You are likely to be ignored, or written off as a loser, if you: * post your question to a forum where it's off topic ... Know what your topic is! One of the classic mistakes is asking questions about Blender in a forum devoted to XNALara. If you don't understand why this is a blunder, you'd be best off not asking any questions at all until you get it. A good example is: Code:
home → Forums → 3ds max → Scripts Wanted Porting a Blender Script to Max (xnalara) Submitted by mariokart64n on Sun, 2009-12-20 18:52 Hello, I was wondering if anyone might want to try and port this script from blender to max http://*************************/t18-ge...ture-utility-s its for xnalara, which is a model viewer that a certain tombraider forum have idolized and used for general model posing. the application only allows for a certain ascci format, which that above blender script dumps out to. but I can't stand blender, and want to use 3dsmax. the issue with exporting a model from say DAE collada to blender, is that my hierarchy information goes out of whack. the bones are in a different name order or whatever.. causing some grief, and extra work todo in blender before exporting to the ascci format. I know that blender and 3dsmax are 2 way non-compatible systems, but if someone can convert that script to 3dsmax, I'd be very greatful. plus it save me alot of time going back and forth in blender ~_~ anyway here's the forum in question if you'd like to know more about xnalara. and thanks for reading http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=147100 -mariokart64n Example: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=%22Blender+weig...utorial%22&l=1 Code:
Before You Ask Before asking a technical question by e-mail, or in a newsgroup, or on a website chat board, do the following: 1. Try to find an answer by searching the archives of the forum you plan to post to. 2. Try to find an answer by searching the Web. 3. Try to find an answer by reading the manual. 4. Try to find an answer by reading a FAQ. 5. Try to find an answer by inspection or experimentation. 6. Try to find an answer by asking a skilled friend. 7. If you're a programmer, try to find an answer by reading the source code. Last edited by XNAaraL; 28-08-11 at 10:57. |

You can publish now the result folder, which contains the .mesh file , the readme and the textures . Quote:

Used noesis to convert an .mdl model to .3ds (to separate the mesh into render areas) and to .smd (for the bones), joined them into blender 2.49 and exported the file as Generic_Item.mesh.ascii with no errors but when I try to convert it to .mesh with GeMeshAsciiToBin and MeshAsciiToBin they crash. What could have caused it and could it be fixed?
