Default PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Has sold over 8 million copies and it is still in early access. MS is working closely with the developers to bring a version to the Xbox X this fall.

Sales have reached !0 million, in early access no less. Some have asked what the big games on X Box X will be. This is going to be one.

Oh, no responses so far! Well, shooters aren't really popular on TRF.

I haven't played this game, but I'll certainly buy it. When H1Z1 was new, I totally wanted to play that, but when they split it into two games, my interest went away.

How are the controls of PUBG? AFAIK PlayerUnknown first made Arma mods and Arma has really awkward and annoying controls.

With a keyboard and mouse I have found the controls to be very responsive. And MS is real close to offering Keyboard and mouse support to the Xbox. I have been surprised at the popularity of the game and the development team has been responsive to the info they are getting from the early access players.

Yes, TRF is afraid of games which requires skills - twitch gameplay.

This is a cool game but it is very slow paced and mid skilled - giving too much credits in camping as far as I know.

My feeling about these games.

By the way they expected to sell 30,000 copies - at the end of the day, they sold more than 8,500,000 copies and is the most played game on Steam. Battle Royal games is the new trend.

More like: TRF doesn't like games where you've to aim manually, except for Uncharted. Basically every game with manual aiming is called a "generic shooter" on TRF because shooting is one of the main gameplay aspects. Even Strange Brigade was called a "generic shooter" despite it being very different from a lot of other modern games.

Cool video, Doppie! Reminds me of our conversation about what a twitch shooter is. Actually I noticed that for me it's easier to play fast paced games than something like CoD.

Really? Like COD? CoD is just hitscans.

I would eventually understand for a game like DayZ which involve a ballistic mastering. ^

As far as I know, it isn't the case. They've just said, they are looking to introduce their game on different platforms. At the moment, it is a Xbox exclusivity.

Regarding fondantcookie's case, I think he is stuck in 2014 - That day Phil said Rise will be a Xbox exclusivity. I guess, it traumatized some people, lol.
