I didn't like leaving it half-done (Egypt's all but complete, it's modelling the caves in Atlantis that had me because I couldn't seem to get them right). If Remnants comes back it'll be scaled back dramatically to about 5 or 6 levels in length, cutting out a few locations I just didn't think fit.

You could upscale the rooms a bit for the cavegeometry as that takes up space and the caves will look way smaller than they should be. So you could try something like that. I remember spotting a video of it.One project at a time ofcourse. I wonder how everything will look now as you allready processed a while since the last released demo.

Not quite although I was referring to the original geomoetry. I can't use level rips at all for any of them because the maps crash after using the Level Converter in NGLE.

I really don't like to complain but... Sometimes ...it happens, may be, more often than the beginners can imagine. Yes, I'm talking about our old and evil engine
. God, I was so naive... Tons of project backups where everybody would get lost, a hundred mb of downloaded tutorials... I thought that stuff help me to avoid problems and build a level which could be compared with known masterpieces. LOL, I was thinking about showing progress at screenshots and even betatest, but crashes on alpha prevent me to do it. Something happened when number of rooms became 96. Nothing was too complicated, but I splitted level because of crashes. Unfortunately they have nothing to do with room limit. So I have nothing to show and going to rebuild the level almost from scratch. From the other side, it's a good lesson to keep rooms and wad structure in order. It also a chance to build better in future. Thanks to this community my project is not cancelled ![]() Thanks everyone, wish me luck. And patience too

Good luck!
![]() Yes, it is good to keep things in order. The editor/engine is quite picky.
