Hounds of Love is absolutely amazing. I remember the first time I heard it, it was such a change from that Kate Bush that the public remembers (i.e. the young, wide-eyed, eccentric). She sounds so much older and wiser from that album on.

"And Dream of Sheep" is an incredible song, I really hope Before The Dawn has it's release soon.
Here's a brilliant cover... it's not a patch on the original but still pretty good non the less. |

Bumping an old thread but footage of the complete Ninth Wave section of the Before the Dawn show has appeared! Since it seems all hope for a proper DVD are gone this could be all we'll ever see.

She sounds woeful, I had three boots of the show and only one date sounded fantastic. I have it on pretty good authority that the show was edited ready for release but she hated the finished product even once re-edited.

Aerial, Red Shoes and 50WFS are her best works IMO.

Funnily her most recent work ! I haven't assimilate 50WFS yet, I think it's her most difficult album to grasp. It's only a matter of time I think.
Hope it will not be another 12 years to wait a new album (2023 ?), though. Last edited by Chamayoo; 27-08-16 at 21:24. |

Never used to like her when my parents played her music during the 80s. Last few years I have changed my mind and think she is very talented with a brilliant and unique voice.
