Default Tomb Raider to shoot next year in Hawaii

Found this article from the Hawaiin film commision and they are in talks to shoot TOMB RAIDER in Hawaii. I loved the locations used in Pirates 4 so it would lend itself nicely to the film! I guess this means we are getting the Island storyline.

I know, it's not fully worked out yet it's still being discussed but I hope it gets chosen as the location. It's beautiful!

I think it might be a bit too tropical to serve as a Japanese island.

even if Hawaii ultimately is not used as a location, the fact that it is even being considered is a good sign...like Tony said, it is a good indication that we'll get a movie that goes along with the new game

Well they could change the colors when they add filters in post-production.

I don't think it's all that different from the in game island the base camp screenshots are really green and vibrant. It's only the tombs and sacrificial alters that would need to be shot in and they would be done in a studio anyway.

Tell me you can't see a good prospect:

It's green but the plants aren't tropical ones. There aren't any palm trees on the island.
