A creepier imagining that the original comedy with Eddie Murphy!

w00t! Thanks god, the ride is amazing and deserves a dark and twisted film.
Del Toro is perfect for that. |

Pan's Laybrynth was the perfecet combination of magical, creepy, and IMO fun. I am glad to hear this news. Cannot wait to see what he does with The Haunted Mansion.

I loved the first Haunted Mansion film (minus Eddie "Annoying" Murphy), but this was definitely needed. The ride itself is very creepy, with only a tiny bit of humor. I can't wait!
All of this: Better be in it, and I hope they design the mansion after that one. But it also makes me wonder which Haunted Mansion they are basing it off of, to my understanding the one in Disneyland Paris is extremely different. |

Now if only he'd make Silent Hill 2.
Wishful thinking... Actually the Paris one is the same but the interior is different. To this day the gravestone with that scary moving eyes on the angels head still irks me. Last edited by Tonyrobinson; 22-07-10 at 20:54. |

I've been and to both and they seemed the same to me. But I was very young when I went to the Paris one so perhaps it's been redone since then.

It's called the Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris:
That's a recent video, and if you compare it to the one I posted earlier you can tell them apart. |

Can it really qualify as a reboot when there's only been one (not particularly good) movie that everyone forgot about years ago? Also, it will probably have nothing remotely in common with the Eddie Murphy film. They should should call it something else; The Haunted Mansion is a dreadful title anyway.
