I'd actually love it. I mean if the game brought up the supernatural, why can't it bring portals that make you travel through time or access a hidden area or something or teleport from one place to another.

Mongolia - riding a camel across dusty borderless steppe, searching the tomb of Chinguiz-Khan;
Caribbeans and Bermudas - sunken galleons with Indian cursed treasures; Arctic - searching Hyperborean artifact; Yellowstone park - calming down the Earth's wound; Mars, Moon - searching the signs of ancient civilizations; Sycilia - mafia and smugglers, any artifacts for your cash; Transylvania - blood-greedy beasts might keep some artifacts; Nightmare - revealing the source of curse of certain artifact. Guess all the places are going to be in ruins after Lara's visit Except the last one, of course. Last edited by A_De; 17-10-17 at 21:17. |

Would be cool if she returned to Egypt. I know that was a bit done to death in the first game and obviously TR4 is entirely set there, but I always enjoyed those sections of the game - it always felt natural for Lara to be there.

At this point, literally anywhere would be nice. Seems like the only place Lara is expeditioning to at the moment is development hell.

So, any more suggestions on future settings and mythologies?

I always wondered what it would be like if Lara was invited to be a visiting professor at Miskatonic University and got involved in the Cthulhu mythos.

I would like to see her explore south-east asia, in particular Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. That would open the possibility to not only deal with ancient myths but also with more recent stuff like the vietnam-war, which left-overs (mines, unexploded bombs etc) could, for example, make the exploration of the environment more dangerous.
