I have some news about this!
First things first, i'm an idiot and forgot to mention that i'm using Arsunt's patched .exe. And the good news, i talked with Arsunt about the secret counter and as i suspected, the way secrets are counted at the end is coded in the .exe. He told ( and showed ) me that the last two levels are coded to not count, and since i have only 1 level right now i assume it interprets it as the final one, and always displays "0 of 0 found". The training level has an index of 0 and it never counts. He also told me he will try to implement a dynamic counter, so the way secrets are counted at the end would relate to the script flow of tombpc.dat rather than be hardcoded in the .exe. |

Yes, this number is hardcoded within the .exe file.
Lot of years ago, there was a programmer who discovered by hexediting the executable where was the address of this paramater to be changed. Unfortunately, there is no more indicious of this. That old forum died. Also it was found the parameter to activate/deactivate snow weather/freezing water for Tomb Raider 3 levels. |

You have to change the hex offset address inside the TOMB4.exe using a hex edit program . Mine is hex workshop .
Data about the TOMB4.EXE secret counter offset : Offset Code Value : 0x000B1785 You have to change number 70 to any number you wanted . |

MY GOSH !
OK , the only thing you have to do is that : When you have opened your hex edit program , search for this string ( Use the Find dialog ) : %d / This should prompt for you the address where the secret counter variable placeholder goes ! Last edited by TheLostSecret; 06-04-18 at 19:20. |
