Select the hat. Go to weight paint mode. Remove every vertex group except for head neck upper. Make sure the hat is completely red for head neck upper.

It seems to me like a UV map problem.
I am 95% sure it's the uv map.
You need to make it, to fit on the textures you have.

If you go to 'Textured' it will look like that in Blender too.

Also, did you got the warning 'mesh whatever has more than one materials'?
If yes, your mesh may uses the wrong texture from another material.
But I highly believe it's a wrong uv mapping.

This appears to all RE5 models that are directly ported and not bone weight copied to a .obj mesh.

You have to do that manually by exporting the same model as .obj from XNALara (of course the non modded one) and bone weight copy the .obj to the broken .mesh.ascii in blender...part by part....
after that it'll work nice

Extract this folder into your XNALara/data folder

you sure it's just like

XNALara/data/common

and not
XNALara/data/common/common or something

Some extracting programs seem to create the folders themselves sometimes

Ol.a, the UV map looks OK but still itīs all messed up both in Blender and XNALara. Well, Iīll just go ahead and start bone-weight copying then.
