I dont really understand 'motion capturing'.... what effect will it have on the game?

They use a real human to do the motions that Lara is going to do in game. I think (I have never played any of the games that has that yet, but seen some cutscenes of Heavenly Sword) that it makes it a million times more realistic.

Didn't Getaway Black Monday use Mo-Cap..? Eventhough its a ps2 game.. and not so great graphics. It gave the characters a much more personal and realistic feel to the player.
