Yes I tried it... (Before I knew you could change it) And then it kept exiting out of the demo.. with all the buttons you had to press to make her climb... ;P Dang Ctrl.

I turned it off for the demo.

I'm sure it will be easier on the PS2.

You could change the controls so it doesn't exit the game.

Yeah. PS2 will be the best to use it. No more exiting the screen

PS2 all the way!

I'm gonna buy the wireless receiver for the 360 controller and use that. Manual grab will be much easier on a gamepad!

The manual grab is the same as autograb except you keep hold of CTRL.

True =/ But it does make the game much harder and gives you full control over her. You are able to make a miss calculated jump.

It's also really hard to press 'E' and the arrow key to make Lara traverse along the ledge... this game wasn't designed for the manual grab in my opinion.

agreed. I think manual grab is pointless in this game.

Yes...

...no. It makes the acrobatic sequences much harder, and you do have much more control. For example, if you want to quickly climb down a ladder, you can just repeatedly let go and grab again. Or you're able to run off a ledge, which is a thing many people missed in Legend. A lot of people wanted that kind of control back, and now we have it. If you think it's pointless or too difficult, just don't use it. Personally, I love it. I would hate for CD to remove that option again just because some people think it's 'pointless'.
