This is it.
This is it. This is that inceptiony ****. W. W. See. This is the prime example of what sets the cinematic/ story-driven craze from the video game/ simulation and immersion stuff. We now have an.... experience, that is being inspired by the subject of what has already made a perfect, full-fleshed video game experience. So they are two separate things. This is interesting and weird. |

It would be weird if you didn't have the freedom of traditional minecraft. But I'm sensing it might be quite different. Considering it being a storymode.

Well yes.
It's almost like. Breaching ARTPOP-iness in it's level of inception. But this is almost exactly what the Tomb Raider reboot is to some fans. They've taken Lara Croft and the concept of Tomb Raiding as it was (somewhat) in the Tomb Raider games, and have created what is basically a spin-off game about the game. |

Why is this called "Story Mode" if its a separated game instead of a new note for the existing one? And I wonder why this comes out for all platforms since Microsoft now owns Mohjang and could make it Xbox exclusive.

It is strange though. MS own's Mojang, who own the IP to Minecraft. After purchasing them what's Mojang's MS should then own. Maybe this started development before the acquisition and therefore it was part of a contract and had to be honoured.
