People who say that TRA's only good level is SFF clearly haven't played the Lost Valley

I finish The Lost Valley and make a start with Tomb Of Qualopec.

I wouldn't say I'm a perfectionist yet.

You could have completed the boss fight much quicker by baiting him to hit the spiked concrete bits when doing the dodge like you did the last time you did it, but oh well!
I didn't notice the opportunity to lure him into the spikes until the fight was pretty much over.

Thanks. I think it was a very attractive level.

So far, I definitely prefer Anniversary to Legend.

Ah, well, if you ever replay TLV, you'll know for next time!

Me too tbh
I'm really surprised that they didn't do another remake for the 20th Anniversary
I'd have loved one!

It's still early days though so I can't really have an opinion on the games yet.

I am now suffering through TR2013 for my very first (and undoubtedly last) time and you have no idea how happy it makes me to see you play a "real game" that is not a a shooting simulator or a semi interactive movie that has nothing to do with the Tomb Raider experience I grew up with.

So since you're nearing the end of Peru... As a whole I personally thought this was a fairly successful reimagining of the original section. And that includes TRA Tomb of Qualopec which I saw get some hate over here. Unfortunately I found two iconic (for me) original areas extremely disappointing. One is the now non-existent underwater section in City of Vilcabamba and the other - the Lost Valley itself (which really has no impact or gamer involvement here whatsoever - you just have to run along).

So far, Anniversary strikes me as a separate game that is based on TR1 as opposed to being a physical remake.

St Francis Folly is an amazing level and is the only true level in the game next to The Lost Valley which deserve the title remake as other levels have just been butchered
