Isn't it funny how some of the most terrible experiences often lead to something completely life changingly positive!?

I met my best friend after I moved and went to a new school, she was the first friend I made after moving. And I met another really good friend years later and we talked non-stop about movies and TV shows.
No special stories, but oh well. |

She brought me into the world
If I have to be honest, out of all the people I've met, I have the fondest memories of people that are older than me. Teachers, yoga companions, family friends and of course, relatives (parents, grandparents...). People my age aren't the ones I like to communicate with. They're just acquaintances/school mates. |

I met my wife during the band camp at college, freshman year. How hilarious that we were both in band. And even better - I was on woodwind for the second year after switching from percussion (due to a tendentious / carpal tunnel issue), and she was on the brass with the baritone.

Outside of my blood relatives, the most important people in my life were met right here at TRF
