Correct.
I was about to point it out but you already did so.

I did make the INDEX because of the reason Piega mentioned.

I have a question!

So you know when you create an object with the cylinder primitive, and the base and top of it is segmented like a pizza. Well whenever I apply textures to these section they are super stretched or squished, does anyone know of a technique for texturing these pie segments?

Open the texture that your trying to apply on the "pizza" () in paint or a image software program thing and trim the size of it alittle (sorry im not good with measurements ) and then import it into the wad with wadmerger and try the texture again, not sure if you know but you can also 'flip' the texture in strpic but holding down SHIFT and clicking it helps with texturing.

I'm texturing in Meta though :/

Do you think these skills still apply?

Here is a meta tutorial I found on the net a while ago.

http://www.4shared.com/file/98609977.../metadocs.html

It explains a lot about meta's commands and a little bit about texturing in meta.
It's for an old registered version of meta so some things won't apply.

For more hints on meta texturing and lighting visit meta2tr's site.
