OK. No leaves it is. I think it looks better without them myself.

EDIT: Here's the screenshot from in-game.

OK. Thanks.

I will gather some more ideas before I continue, such as giving this cave some kind of purpose. I am using a text document to put ideas into as that is what I prefer.

EDIT: Screenshots of start area and completed cave entrance.

Lara slides in.

Start of the cave.

More progress. Although I need to gather more ideas for this section instead of the go in, find something and get out style. I feel there should be some kind of obstacle in there, but not something to increase difficulty too much.

Here's the screenshots.

Up to a higher area.

Following the cave.

May need to remove one of the light objects, it looks a little strange going through the wall.

I love the look of this place already!

My big quip right now is the entrance slide. It feels so blocky in comparison to the rest of the level. Perhaps it could be roughened out some? Make the ceiling arch?

I can raise the ceiling and round off the entrance to make it more natural, no problem.

EDIT: The top may need further alteration but here's the new entrance slide.

Be sure to don't spoil the whole level, I've seen too much screenshots so far

OK. Right. I did go a little crazy with the screenshots.

I need some advice on gameplay.

I have the cave area built but was concerned that there was nothing going on in between the start and end of the cave.

But it seems exploration is more important (upon starting the level anyway), so it seems that it isn't an issue as I can bring in more action later on. That's what I gathered from the Building Gameplay tutorial anyway.

I just don't want this project to spiral downwards like the last two did.

Indeed, at the beginning of the level at least, the player get familiar with the environment, so there's no need for complex gameplay ideas. You can add a bit of platforming though while exploring and getting further in the cave to make things a bit more dynamic than just walking through
