Default Tomb Raider 4 Fog/Bloom effect?

So I was messing around in the setup fixing some bug I had when I clicked on Volumetric fx. When I played the game I had this pretty looking fog/bloom effect. It looks nice, but in Karnack once of the areas is in blue which is a bit strange. Does anyone play with this fog/bloom effect?

Apparently the blue fog in Karnak is a bug and it is the only place where it looks odd. The fog was originally going to have a sand-alike look.

Anyway, personally I was never fond of this effect so I always keep it turned off. It's not present in the PSX version of the game anyway.

I keep it off. Someone here tried to fix it once, not sure what happened there.

Lets hope the HD project can fix the issue.

Karnak's cyan fog might just have been a typo.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to try the fix. I can't believe that Core Design messed up like that. It's probably why the fog effect was not added into the Playstation version and why it is off by default on PC.

EDIT

It works, but the cutscene of Von Croys men arriving still has the blue fog and its so strong in the scene where the whole thing is just blue. Plus this messes up the water room where Lara walks on water as I'm sure that is meant to be blue.

Either way it would be cool if this did get addressed in the TR4 HD Remake. For now I'll leave the fog off.

No, the fat that the effect is missing from PSX is probably just because of limitations or something like that. They only got it wrong in Karnak after all.

Yep, the cutscene with Von Croy actually happens in another level, so the fog is still untouched. I guess it's just that several triggers are missing to change the color when needed, so changing the color of one trigger doesn't fix everything.
Is it possible to add triggers to a level by modding it?
