I don't think so. TRAOD was quite short.

No, TRAOD's storyline was for a one game. It was said after it's release that they'd continue it's story(for a well known reason). It's true though that Kurtis was meant to have his own serie after TRAOD.

Short?

I know some of the levels seemed short, but it was 29 levels long. On a normal playthrough it takes me longer to complete AOD than TR's 1-3 and TR5.

Make that 25 levels since the element parts in hall of seasons weren't really levels seperate than hall of seasons.

Maybe 29, but still some levels were just get-in-and-out without any gameplay, especially in Paris. The longest part of the game was probably Tomb of Ancient, but they made it in at least six levels with three of them as a one-room location. And some levels were just other ones with minor alterations(I'm talking about you, Louvre).

Those 4 element sections were the same level as the hall of seasons.

Four element sections were placed in each separate level file, hence the loading screens.

Well not really because they were so short it's just like calling willowtree herbalist, rennes' pawnshop, cafe' metro, and st. aicard's church seperate level files. So the element parts are so short they're part of hall of seasons.

They actually are in separate level files.

Still, my statement stays true. many, if not most of level files are hideously short even without fighting which level files should be considered as individual levels.

Well the 4 elements are part of the hall of seasons despite them being in seperate level files.

I agree. I think of AOD in terms of general locations. I think it was only broken down into small levels that way due to limitations of the game engine.
