It definitely didn’t bomb. But it got mixed reviews, but all the aspects that were criticised could be ironed out in a sequel for sure

Hopefully one of those aspects is Lara’s interest in archaeology. That was one of the movie’s biggest sins imo.

One of the main complaints other than the story wasn’t fleshed out enough was that there wasn’t enough action, which I agree about. The first half of the movie was pretty slow and then when they finally got to the action, it lasted 10 minutes and then the movie was over

The father storyline was probably the biggest complaint. Something I think most people would agree brought the film down.

Oh so thats why they are at the SDCC, its less a Tomb Raider thing and more a Square Enix thing...makes sense.
