My dream cast:
Alicia Vikander for Lara: Karen Fukuhara for Sam: Elizabeth Banks for Ana: Angela Bassett for Reyes: John Tui for Jonah: Sean Bean for Roth: Nicholas Hoult for Alex (unnecessary character but if they do include) http://66.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ll...3aho1_1280.jpg Colin Firth for Richard Croft: Gemma Arterton for Amelia Croft: (based on her photographs in Blood Ties) I can't think of any better actors for the characters than those. Bankable actors, too. Last edited by Rai; 31-10-16 at 22:54. Reason: Not using allowed image hosts |

As for Sam, I really hope they do improve the character for the film. For that matter, everything needs improvement. They'd better do it if they want it to be a success. :S |

This sounds promising the relationship building was one of the biggest gripes that reviewers had with the game so building upon it will only mean good things. I am just hoping that Lara doesn't sound cockney now they're making her live in the Eastend.
Although it sounds as though they're going to address that in the film as Alicia says she is trying to find herself and the audience will wonder why she lives there. |

Alicia's accent will probably be similar to how her accent already is. She did an AWFUL American accent in the Bourne movie she was in. I loved seeing her and it was the only reason why I watched the movie, but her American accent was so terrible.
I think she'll be amazing as Lara though. The plus side is that we know she won't sound American. |

I think I've said it before but Sean Bean as Roth really doesn't work for me. He just doesn't have the right look for the part. PinkyPromise's suggestions of Liam Neeson feels like a better fit IMO (and I have mentioned before that I think Matt Nable could work really well).
Well, I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's not Sam/Karen because of some of your other posts in this thread. For the same reason, I'm going to guess that it's not any of the other crew members (because otherwise you'd already know that they're not whitewashing the crew). I also personally don't think it's very likely that Lara's parents will show up in the film (though they might get mentioned). Of course, you could simply be being clever and referring to Alicia but let's assume that that's not the case which would leave either Elizabeth Banks for Ana (I think she may very well show up if the film begins in London) or Sean Bean for Roth. Personally, I hope it's the former. (Or perhaps I'm totally off and it is one of the options I ruled out .) But even then, doing a screen test isn't the same as getting the part, obviously.
