Default I am sorry for Pessimism

I wish I could think more positively towards Crystal Dynamics but I am afraid I cant, from what I have seen, this episode like previous once released by CD is going to be for 13 year olds, just pretty pictures and animations.

I dont know may be I am too old for playing games but I am playing Portal 2 the game is limited to one maze like building, there are no vehicles, exotic locations or Bosses just a gun that opens portals in walls and you solve a puzzle and cross into next section, It's the most gripping and intense game ever, I am sure Kids'll buy this new TR but if they want to keep old fans like me interested they'll have to create intelligent plot and new puzzles and a Good old Mansion!

We don't know much about the new game yet, so let's not abandon hope completely.

Stay cautiously optimistic I'd say.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with this. The fact that they're taking their time with this game keeps me hopeful, but there are several aspects of this game that I'm hesitant on. So "cautiously optimistic" pretty much describes my attitude towards it.

I don't think fans can be defined by wanting a mansion.

I agree I want a plot and interesting puzzles, but I could not care less about a mansion and yes I have been playing TR since 1996.

Not sure the new game is for 13 years old, it's pretty violent.
But, I know what you mean. We've seen too little, though, they might surprise us, which is why I'll wait and see.

Don't apologize for pessimism. It's just your opinion, so you shouldn't feel bad about it
