Question AOD in Legend opening

I got this shot from the opening scene in Tomb Raider Legend
and im surprised from this.
Its Aod Lara , to me it looks typically identical to her
idk why CD did this ????
even the boots look similar .Not talking about her head and hair

I think that they were originally working on a model identical to Angel of Darkness Lara, there was a model of her being worked in a scene shown on the Gametap documentary. I'm pretty sure it was from the Crystal Dynamic part.

No they were working on a model that looked reminiscent of AOD Lara but more realistic. This however, is taken from one of Core's TR6 renders of the actual AOD Lara...which is then run over by a motorbike.

...a little cheeky crystal...

I always saw it as a sly dig at Core with CD having Legend Lara on a bike running over her. Of course only fans would notice this detail...
