In your library, Right click TRL> Properties> and check if the overlay is enabled or not.
Edit: it seems that this is a known issue, the first thread in the community section was about the overlay. http://steamcommunity.com/app/7000/d...1031507254589/ Last edited by SLAYER; 26-10-14 at 18:07. |

^I just did. The overlay is activated for TRL. Doesn't work though.
Going by that thread you linked to I probably shouldn't get my hopes up that it will ever get fixed... I could uninstall the Steam version and then install the retail version instead, but I bet that wouldn't necessarily make it any easier to do a screen grab... Since Bandicam isn't able to screen capture from TRL then maybe my last hope is getting FRAPS or something...? |

If you're going to try Fraps I recommend trying it with the trail version first just to make sure if it works

^Yeah, I'll be sure to try out the trial version first.
Btw, since you mentioned you were able to screen capture using Bandicam maybe that means Bandicam is able to screen capture the regular retail version, but for some reason can't capture from the Steam version? |

There's two different modes on Bandicam
Rectangle and DirectX open GL The DirectX one is the only one that can work with Legend and Anniversary |

In Steam, click on +Add a game > add a non-steam game > Browse > go to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider Legend\trl.exe

Must be some kind of oversight by Steam since TRL isn't automatically given this functionality... |
