I was looking at the Resident Evil movies budget and box office. None had a budget bigger that 60 millions and they all were between 200-300 millions at the box office.

It pulled in a few million $ from S Africa, Portugal, Norway and N Zealand. Could still hit that $270m mark - it's so close!
Well even if they did, they didn't update the total figures 'cause they've been stuck on $212,600,000 for like 2 weeks

Yes, looking further into the daily/weekend totals the figures are totally out-of-date in most cases.

I don't think there's enough buzz surrounding the movie. Everyone outside the core fanbase seems to be apathetic towards it

As we all said, the trailers and promotion didn't do any favour to the movie. The first trailer was watched by a lot of people and they talked about it not for the right reasons.

The second trailer should have been the first one and then they should have made an even better follow up trailer

It reminds me of the last Power Rangers movie. People seemed to enjoy it and then... nothing.

Some countrys are not updated since weeks ago, Mexico for instance. It's not going to be a lot of money but surely we will pass the 270M WW.

The numbers had updated the info:

https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/To...8)#tab=summary

It's now on $270,708,161. A few millions WW more, and that's it.

I didn't think the trailer was that bad. I actually enjoyed it (Definitely less so than the 2nd one). Did people really not like it?

The percentage of dislikes in the first trailer is very very high. That and the giraffe poster was a bad start for the movie ...
