Currently avoiding going back to Rise of the Tomb Raider, the score attacks are really annoying me. I've finished the game twice, all I left to get platinum is the score attacks but I don't find the levels very replayable.

I picked up Devil May Cry--the original, the one with the learning curve like a brick wall. I was doing OK (probably better than my first playthrough ages ago) then I hit Nightmare 1 and I realized, I didn't want to work that hard anymore.

Lords of the Fallen

It's not BAD, but any other game I have is more entertaining. Maybe if I had spent more than just a few dollars on it I'd be invested in completing it.

I purchased the HD remaster trilogy and flat out stopped within the first hour. Man the game is really rough and not just in terms of difficulty...

Yeah, it not an easy game. DMC3 is much more forgiving in terms of gameplay. I do adore Dante.

Alien Isolation. It's grating at my soul.

The game doesn't use any kind of skill at all to scare the alien away or to stall it in place, so the things hovers around Amanda like moth to a flame, which makes the little **** so annoying.

It's not even scare, just a big old roadblock when I'm tired of crouching for the 16th hour.

Waiting under a table or in a locker is a good short-term solution, but ultimately you need to navigate around it eventually.

Also, if you throw a molotov at it, I think that scares it away for a little bit, but admittedly I've never tried it. Use distraction items like noise makers liberally too.

Anyway, I think Yooka Laylee got off my play list. Not because it's bad, but I just got distracted by better games.
