Lara Croft and the Frozen Omen comic series
As this is a separate series from the Tomb Raider comics from Dark Horse comics, I decided it deserves it's own thread. I've put it here as neither the Rise nor the Tomb Raider ('13) section seem appropriate. Dark Horse comics will launch a mini series of comics featuring classic Lara from GoL and ToO in Lara Croft and the Frozen Omen set to be released in October. Issue 1: Releasing October 7 Written by Corrina Bechko, art by Randy Green, Cover art by Jean-Sebastien Rossbach Cover Image Synopsis: Quote:
Issue 2 Larger Image Synopsis: Ancient artifacts are being collected by cultists planning to cause a natural disaster of world-ending scale! Lara must call on former rival Carter Bell’s expertise to stop them, and together they’ll face danger, action, and adventure like never before! Issue 3 (Click to see larger) Synopsis: Lara and Carter are trapped in an airfield where the only way out is through a hail of bullets! Can they survive this race against time to gather ancient artifacts and keep them away from cultists who would use these treasures to destroy everything? Issue 4 Click image for larger. Synopsis: The identity of Lara and Carter’s dangerous new enemy—Mr. Green—is revealed. The two adventurers use every weapon in their arsenal to stop a cult led by a madman who wants to remake the world . . . by destroying it! Issue #5 Synopsis: . I love that cover. The art style is amazing. Apparently the artist worked on the Top Cow comics. The story is certainly intriguing. It seems the writer has more freedom than the TR comics did.

the cover is great
seems like they're trying to build a whole complete universe for classic Lara , games , mobile games , a novel and now a comic series I have to say this came out of the blue . |

Yeah, there's one in the works written by the TT Immortals author. I think it's due out this autumn. It's Lara Croft and the Blade of Gwynnever.
