It runs, I did the modification in the location and the SCU still says it cannot find the installation location.
I did buy the game also! Conor |

Thing is, SCU needs to read the registry to get the game version. One thing I don't get is why does ANoDE need to get the version. It works on all of them, unlike Legend. Another thing, it reads the install location from registry. Once you apply the settings, and hit Launch game, that's where that thing comes into play...

No clue then. Might wanna PM ANoDE and ask him what needs to be done or just write the file yourself. Follow the guides. Which, simple : http://www.tombraiderforums.com/archive/index.php. Navigate to Anniversary or Legend and make your searches. Even though the forums don't have a search function enabled, you can use the archive to scroll faster through the pages...

-remove the version check (that you introduced for Legend because only some versions of the game were supported, but is unnecessary for TRA, anyway) and -instead of reading the install path from the registry, ask the user about the .EXE location. Not sure if that's all that is required, but removing the registry reading sounds very promising to me. To the Vista users: (I'm still on XP, so I'm in the dark about, just guessing wild) Does Vista, like XP, have a regedt32 program or any other means to edit the permissions for registry keys? On XP, there's normal regedit (which can't do that) and there's regedt32 (which can do it). Just right-klick a registry key and from the context menu select Permissions (or similar, I'm using German XP). Then you can edit permissions for the reg keys just like you can for file system objects (i.e. files & folders). Now, if that works on Vista as well, you might try permitting "All Users" and/or "System" and/or your user account full access to the TRA registry key, so that the SCU might be able to read it. I can imagine that, while XP allows anyone to read and modify and key unless otherwise stated, that Vista in it's usual paranoia prohibits anything but the owner to access the key. But again: this is only wild guesswork here. I don't know a thing about Vista except that its default settings are very restrictive. Last edited by Phil78; 06-06-07 at 06:03. |

They also work with a space. Notice the default line "pu 1 -debugmenus blabla". Either way, they load
There's a bug with cn10, as you can play it (and not replay it). Also with the cinematic with Lara on the boat. After the replay, Lara falls overboard in the water. You can swim around Last edited by SunBeam; 15-06-07 at 02:31. |

Wow you already wrote an utility (TRA Loader) to load levels, right?
Where can we get it? Thanks. Edit: Never mind. Found it via google. I should have known it before looking at the bigfiles ;-) Last edited by nothingtolose; 15-06-07 at 02:51. |
