Wouldn't it be cool if...
We can throw the pick axe in combat. Or has this been confirmed? If you threw it in a group a guys maybe one of the others can get hold of it and you have to kill them to get it back. The combat in the survival 3 video looks scary. Looks a lot like uncharted where it is about 10 guys against 1. I get nervous in those moments Lucky I am getting the collectors edition with the gun dlc. Come and get it boys!

and... if you don't get it back (or the guy that picked it up falls of a cliff) you broke the game and have to restart? haha
I don't actually now if they included that but I doubt it. I guess it'll be cqc melee only |

Because the axe is a ''gear gated tool'' i highly doubt it. It still would be pretty cool though.

The only way I'd see this working is if you can unloock some sort of boomerang pick axe.

Wouldn't make sense to throw your only defense away at an enemy when you're not guaranteed to even hit that target, nor get it back.

You climbed a high mountain, tossed a pick axe at an enemy, missed, it fell into the abyss.
You're pretty much screwed and rot up there to death. |

I'm super clumsy so if it was me and I threw it I would probably miss and it would fall off a cliff or into water or the bad men will get it and kill me. Good job i'm not a gardener or I would of tripped and fallen on my own shears.
Anyways I think the axe is only ment to be a melee wepon. |

Maybe if Lara had a kusarigama....
Missed potential by cd IMO. You could use that as an upgraded climbing axe Last edited by Alister's_Brain; 22-02-13 at 01:17. |
