BioShock Infinite
Irrational Games, the creators of BioShock 1, have announced their next project: BioShock Infinite. It is set in 1912, before the events of the first game and takes place in a city IN THE SKY. IGN has a teaser, screenshots and impressions from an eyes-on demo given by Ken Levine. http://pc.ign.com/articles/111/1111864p1.html It is scheduled for a 2012 release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. I personally had no interest in BioShock 2 as there did not seem to be any artistic justification for the game when the original team moved on. But since this IS the original team, sign me up. Damnit, I was just about to make the thread for this. xD
Anyway, I can't wait. Irrational Games is back making it, so I know it will be just as good as the first game. |

Is it bad that I wish the second game never happened and that this was BS2? :/

Nope, because I felt the second game was a complete waste of time. As much as I loved Rapture, I do think it was best left to the first one. This would have been a way better sequel than the one we got. Oh well, now we have this and I am pumped!

Is #2 really that bad? I just got it pretty cheap... didn't buy it right away 'cause I had too many other games to play.

Great news Bioshock Infinite looks great.
Bioshock is one of my favourite series both 1 and 2 are absolutely amazing and have their own personality and mystique. I played number 2 before number one and I honestly can't make up my mind as to which one I liked better so good! |
