Oh yes, the outdoor areas with geometry can cost a lot textures. You have to spare on enemies and weapons to avoid the limit, but I'm sure you can manage that

Well thanks for the encouragement. But didn't you say the uzis cost a lot of space? They are my favourite weapon...
I suppose using the original rock textures from TR2 is a nono for what i have in mind... we'll see. I could try to make seamless rock textures like i did in Mystic Realm, the problem is the repetition, but i can't have everything, at least not right now. |

I love the background picture of the game in TR2 and the secrets' sprites. Well done.

Level 2 completed!
The second level is now fully detailed.
Here's some more screenshots of it: Inside the hideout. Fancy bathroom. A familiar setting... Storage action. I like how that custom ceiling light texture came out. Going up... And the best area of the level, the living room! Love it. And also some curiosities of the TR2 engine. Core messed up some things badly, like the blade statue, which has a lot of transparent spots in the armor texture, i fixed those: And also the trapdoor from The Great Wall is messed up, since it lacks a "side" texture, i added one to it ( and repaired the bars ): So now i would need at least 3 volunteers to test the level. But about the item balance, i have a dilemma. Should i provide a save game with a spot before finishing the first level? Or would you be ok with repeating the first level so you have a more individual experience? Keep in mind that i haven't fixed the first level's errors yet. |

Thank you thewolf. But would you prefer i provide a save game or starting over from the beginning? Another option is giving you an average of items remaining from the first level via script.

I'm up for the test, but if level 1 is the same as before I wouldn't mind a savegame
I will go through every level from the beginning again when the adventure is completed of course |

I will play the first level again and provide you testers a savegame. I won't collect all secrets, as i want to make sure this is perfectly possible to play through without secret bonuses. |

I don't need a previous loadout. I will start from zero, might be better for calculating
