Now we can admire the Croft Mansion circa TR1 in all its anti-glory

Also, I noticed the reverb effect

Is there any chance we could adjust the camera distance? It seems now that the widescreen aspect ratio is achieved by cropping from the 4:3 picture...

Currently not, but camera rework is in my nearest plans

Obviously it's not a feature of high-priority, but it would be a nice touch-up

Looks pretty good, just keep adding the levels now, don't worry about small bugs.

When the thing is done you can monkey patch the problems as they arise.

So could you package this up with chromium or something and then distribute it for the Raspberry Pi or even put it in the retropi distro? I think that would be really neat.

I'm chasing up and only found this now. This is a wonderful piece of work, I'm blown away!
I normally skepticize remakes but this one genuinely improves TR without ruining TR...
Much appreciated what you're doing. I'll defo replay the entire TR in this, whenever out.

In fact I'm here due to a trouble with a TR1 custom level, Recovering the Scion.
That level crashes in tombati but not in OpenLara, much credit to Treeble for noticing that.
The point is the web app only loads one .PHD at a time... and the custom game above has three.
Thus I tried the github release instead - but that one won't load any .PHD at all. What now?
I'm asking because a friend of mine wants to stream this custom tonight. Is it doable?

Hey XProger you have done some amazing work here!

Just one teeny tiny complaint...
Lara can no longer jump up 1 block spaces anymore she always "hits" the block and falls down. In the original TRs you could jump forward and if you were one block away from the top Lara wouldn't fall back down. I hope my vague description makes sense!

OpenLara has native Raspberry Pi support :)

I'll update release versions soon, OpenLara isn't ready for normal play.
Probably the reason why tombati crashes might be in wrong box index behind this door (or maybe others):

Btw, OL didn't hide second Lara entity and you control it too :D

I meant it crashes when you try to climb the sphinx, at fixed height. The save I gave is few steps below.
The symptome is similar to when you make a wrong horizontal portal in room stack of TR4.
But this is TR1 and I really don't know a thing about this engine...

The lost valley and colosseum are now beatable, level terminates. There are some funny bugs.
I hesitate to show some of these things because then you'll feel compelled to fix them and I just don't think they are that important right now.

Lost Valley fine except for shimmy at 4:00, and funny bug at 4:45

Colosseum level mostly normal, but timed switches gate room, 6 minutes and 10 seconds specifically is a little bit of an issue but passable

Palace Midas gate won't open again but it seems like the level opening camera is now triggered.
