Damn, another PS4 exclusive which looks really good. Not really innovative in any regard, but at least thematically it's not at all tired. And the gameplay just might end up being innovative as well, to an extent anyway.
Ghrgh, the time when I move out (or at least re-acquire the bigger room) can't come soon enough - it's my own TV and a PS4 first purchase then. ;_; |

I really like the post-apocalyptic setting and the contrast between the primitive human protagonists and the super advanced mech enemies. I liked that about Enslaved as well, but I don't think there will be more similarities (between those games).

I thought the same when I saw the gameplay demo. The enemies are similar to Enslaved's Mechs and the female protagonist is visually similar to Trip but in terms of herself as a character is more kick-ass.
Basically its what Enslaved could've been with a bigger budget and access to today's hardware which isn't a bad thing. I see it like a spiritual successor to Enslaved which is why I think its stuck in my mind since seeing it. |
