Especially if we go with RotTR: truly make Ana the main antagonist and expand Sofia's role in the story.

Or maybe actually market the movie and don't put it between two big Marvel releases, that also would help.
I agree with you 100%
They need not just more women in the cast, but also valorize Lara herself and focus a bit more on the fact that she is a powerful woman icon.
That's what people want to see (they didn't care of the dad-daughter relationship).
For me the most important thing is that they don't give her a love interest.

4. More fun factor. I don't think the trailers properly sold the first films more fun moments.
These are really good points, but I'm not a fan of the last one; I know that people loves fun and jocks but I don't want an Avengers rip off.
The amount of fun of the first movie was ok for me!

Agreed. I don't want an Avenger's copy. I was thinking fun moreso on the lines of Indiana Jones.

I'd love a film about her getting trapped inside a tomb. That'd be fun.

Hey Fanos, could you try to get new insider info on this stuff, even if it's a no?
Sure sweet thing, just tell me what should I ask.
I want to let everyone know that the insider I talk to is really trustworthy, at least I trust him. He confirmed photo mode and the introduction of Croft Manor will be different than Rise's, in SOTTR like 3-4 weeks before the game launch, so he won me.

Finally Warner have done something smart to boost the sales of the movie. They are making thoses christmas boxes with several movies.

1 : Wonder Woman/Tomb Raider (a really good idea)
2 : Rampage/Tomb Raider (also a good idea)
3 : Tomb Raider/ Ready Player One/Rampage/Resident Evil I/Need for Speed

Too bad they didn't make an Assassin's Creed/Tomb Raider

Now I want a Wonder Woman Lara Croft team up movie. Just get Patty Jenkins to direct, buys us points with critics.

If Tomb Raider gets a sequel I think a smaller budget and story scope would work but better writing is going to make the difference, they should hire a more experienced writer to focus on their story and character instead of their set pieces this time. The action in the film was great but there needs to be stronger character moments.

There was stronger characters before Alastair Siddons ruin everything.

I just watched the movie with a friend of mine who loves the first 2 games and is now playing Shadow. She really liked it. Even the relationship between Lara and Richard.

I’m surprised I still like the movie. It’s a very well made film and Alicia killed it as Lara. I’m happy with the result, as different as it is from the games.

Mathias was better when Trinity had his daughters gave him a bit more motivation even if it was some what cliché. I'm sad that got lost in the final cut.
