You can see that the hair part looks fine in the last image, there is no other mesh with transparency behind this hair part.

Now when I move another lock of hair right behind it, it looks like this:

The hair looks fine as long as there is no mesh or only a mesh that does not use the transparency option 'behind' it. Otherwise, the alpha looks wrong.

In Blender:

No errors (compare the last image with the one from my previous post). Sorry for continuing in English, it's easier for me.

----

EN: Yes, that fits my theory. The actual weirdness happens because XNALara renders opaque and transparent pixels separately. The opaque pixels are rendered correctly (this is easy), and the transparent ones aren't.

Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for this issue. The correct solution is sort all triangles that use alpha-blending from back to front again for every frame. XNALara does not currently do that, since it takes a lot of work, but I guess this is something that will need to be added sooner rather than later. Blender does that already, of course, since they have much more money and people.

Danke dir!

Oh, I feared that it would be complicated... Oh well, at least I know now that it's not 'my' fault. I will keep the model the way it is and hopefully one day... there will be a fix.

Cochrane hat die Ursache gut erläutert ... mehr (Geld und) Leute, welche Entwickeln und welche Fehler melden ... and hopefully one day... certainly later than rather ... there will be a fix.

@ L2R: Not a 100% solution, but a workaround:
Separate your hair mesh into 2 or more parts. The layer directly around the head as a separate mesh (6_hair002). The outer layer as a new mesh part (6_hair001).
The mesh part which is located at first position inside the model file will be sends at first to the graphics card. You can now control the basic render effect by swapping the order inside the .mesh file. Therefore sometimes the problem is solved if you import and re-export the model in Blender. This is a workaround. The problem exists, if you posing the model.

Another option is to assign different groups for the different hair layer (6_hair001 and 7_hair002). Normally, XNALara will render first the groups with low render group numbers.

Yes, of course. XNALara is a realtime rendering program and if it had all the options that Blender has, well, I'm pretty sure my laptop wouldn't be able to run it, lol (not at XNALara's usual speed, at least).

Anyway, you are right! I have done a few small tests and yes, it works! I will report back later with some pictures (haven't fixed everything yet). I think one needs to make a new .mesh.ascii file and not overwrite the old one, because even though the order of the meshes changes when you rename things in Blender, it does not in the file (if you simply overwrite it). But I can't say for sure, since I haven't done enough tests. I will soon!

It's a workaround indeed, but hey, better than nothing!

Gern geschehen :blowkiss:
And thanks for your (BUG) report, the response and all the effort for the XNALara Community.

Heel erg bedankt daarvoor!

Thank you, nowhere near as much as you have contributed.

Well, a few hours (nah, not really but still too long :P) of torture later... I think I'm getting somewhere. XD

But why oh why does the exporter put a mesh that uses rendergroup 25 and starts with an 'e' below one that uses the same rendergroup and starts with an 'h' (I mean the order of the meshes in the .ascii file)??? The order is the way I want in Blender, but the exporter messes it up, hehe. It doesn't have anything to do with overwriting the old file either, like I used to think, because I deleted the old one before exporting...

A bit frustrating, lol.

edit:
Wait, maybe it has something to do with the mesh parts being in different layers in Blender (during exporting)...

edit 2:
Nope, they are all in the same layer, so that's not it either...
But wait! Yes, some meshes are not parented to the armature and others are... that might cause the change in the order...
Checking this now.

edit 3:
Noooo, that is not the cause either. >_>
It seems to me like it's completely random. I guess I have no choice but to rearrange some things in Notepad.
