I helped my mother purchase her first 4K TV on Tuesday when I got back from seeing my dad in Oklahoma (that was a long day lul. Was up for 20 and a half hours, from 4:35AM Oklahoma time to 1AM Pacific Time). She has only watched some TV on it once we had the XFinity box upgraded to record stuff. But I decided to see what Blu Rays looked like on it so I started a watchthrough of my fifth favorite film series: The Hunger Games. Watched them each night for three nights, with Mockingjay Part 1 tonight. Will try watching Pat II tomorrow.
Its been a little while since I last saw Katniss and co. She's my #2 favorite female literature/film character, behind Hermione Granger. Its what got Jennifer Lawrence famous, not just Winter's Bone, which was decent. She has some great acting skills I think. Anyway, if I don't forget I'll watch Mockingjay Part II tomorrow. For the record, I like the four films more than the three books. The books are great in their own regard. |

Season 2 of The Good Witch. Much the same as before. The storylines were a bit meh and some of the characters, their actions and motives are annoying. I also watched 2 of the tv movies, which are set prior to the series. These seemed to emphasise the magical aspect slightly more, but it's still under played to the point it comes off as having a logical explanation. Season 3 is not available yet, but I'm not sure I'm bothered.

Ballers Season 1
The Rock's charisma honestly makes anything watchable. I also started Westworld but I have no idea what's going on ... Last edited by BluenoseGames; 30-08-17 at 17:29. |

Trust Me. A four part BBC drama, starring Jodie Whitaker. It's a hospital drama about a nurse who pretends to be a doctor in order to make a better life for herself and her daughter. I don't normally watch hospital dramas but I wanted to see Jodie's acting before seeing her in Doctor Who . I must say I was impressed, not just with Jodie but the drama overall.
The Circle, with Emma Watson and Tom Hanks. Very interesting, well acted. Last edited by Rai; 06-09-17 at 00:23. |

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Finally gotten around to re-watching this. It's okay, a tad boring in parts. AJ was okay as Lara.

IT
It wasn't scary but I enjoyed it. The kids were great and Bill Skarsgard is really good as Pennywise. |
