Summit forest - jump onto wall - how?
I've reached the Summit forest and am trying to jump onto the climbing wall.
Lara enters a cave and there is a slippery slope that I am guessing Lara needs to jump from at some point to get onto the opposite wall. I tried many times but cannot do it Is there another way or just a matter of timing the jump at the right moment? |

Yes when I first went for the cache I didn't notice the slope and actually jumped from the platform in the tree.

Yeah, I think the problem is that, even if you push the interaction button, Lara kind of... "resets" herself (so it's like you never push it at all) when you make the jump. The solution I found was to push the interaction button many times while in the air, so that Lara can react and reach the climbing wall.

Just jump from the very edge. I'm pretty sure you can also jump there from one of the wooden platforms in the trees.

Both of the jumps to the GPS ledge are kind of tricky, but the jump from the tree platform is a bit easier.
If you try the cave again, IIRC the trick is to steer just a bit to the right, and Lara will grab on. You've got to jump right from the edge too, as SassyKid says. Also be careful when jumping from the climbing wall over to the GPS ledge, you need to be as high up and pressing as far towards the ledge as you can. Its easy to miss, and then you have to do the cave jump again. Easier to use the tree platform... |
