TRU and Ambient Occlusion
I tried using the search option to find a thread or a post about ambient occlusion in TRU and I failed.
I recently discovered you can enable ambient occlusion in TRU on Nvidia GPUs by using a program called "Nvidia Profile Inspector" Default game: https://i.imgur.com/OnytV0Y.png AO enabled: https://i.imgur.com/UCOZ5DL.png Default game: https://i.imgur.com/9Ss7tUN.png AO enabled: https://i.imgur.com/mXy7uLP.png I especially love how the shadows get added to Lara's model. It makes her look so good when she's in motion (look great in screenshots, but far better in motion). I'll try to take a couple more screenshots later if I get the time. Here's a guide on how to enable it: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Tomb_R...graphics_cards I'm sure that with this tool you can do other interesting things as well, but I haven't had the time to play with it much. I also read that you can use the same tool to enable anti-aliasing in TRA without the disabling shadows (TRA on PC disables shadows if you turn on AA/MSAA) Last edited by UroshUchiha; 28-07-19 at 21:33. |

I remember a thread about this years ago, it's a great way to enhance graphics Hope more people see this now that it's remembered.
If I'm not mistaken this works for TRA as well, and I'm guessing TRL? |

I'm surprised that there are basically no mods for TRL, TRA and TRU outside of outfits mods. TRA has that UI and Croft Manor HD overhaul and that's about all I could find for these games. |

I suck to notice the difference (except pics side by side or in videos) but sounds really cool !
One mod I really want for LAU would be a "no white ledge" one. |

I just open both pics in two different tabs and quickly switch between the two to see the difference xD

It's hard to notice the difference honestly when you are playing the game. I only see it on the screenshots (because you have to restart the game for the changes to take effect). And I simply can't get enough of how better it looks in the 2nd set of screenshots.

yeah, you'd think the game or Nvidia control panel would be enough to cover all the scenarios, but no more often than not, the best solution is to get that tool, play with the flags and/or hope someone did it for you. PC gaming can be nuts sometimes.
