W.I.P

This is actually the first model I ever made...
Kinda worried about how I am going to texture this...

Hope this tutorial helps me

Oh, and do you think these are way too much meshes for TRLE?

Mouth, nose and eyes are way to detailed.
You can do with a lot less faces/vertices there. Most of those vertices will snap together anyway since all vertices have to have whole coordinates in the size used in the wad.

Is there a reason for the face not to be symmetrical?
Because if you make it symmetrical, texturing will be easier since you can use the textures on both sides of the face.

Other than that, the face looks good.

If you want to see how a face can be les heavy on the vertices you could check the faces made by Trangel or Horus-Goddess. Those look very detailed ingame but less so in Meta.

Thanks for you suggestions
I will delete some meshes here.

------

(Don't know where should I ask this)

So.. I'm already doing UV Mapping..

Aren't these too many pieces?
How am I supposed to join then all? ._.
(Is there another way to texture these up? I have the textures here.. but they are joined..)

Remember that WADs CANNOT handle UV Mapping. If you want to use UV Mapping, you have to edit TR4 data files. (TR4 files handles UV Mapping.) Or you'll have a very lot of work faking the texturing.

The reason for this is very technical but mostly WAD handles vectors instead of geometry while TR4 files contains full geometry of its every models. (including rooms)

It looks like you used atlas.

Experiment with project or spherical or cylindrical maybe.

You probably need to use another 3D program that has more UV mapping options like Blender.

Teme9 knows how to do it, maybe ask him.

The registered version of the latest Meta has some better options for UV.

That's true, but these new MQO files still compatible with old versions of Meta

GotP Lara headmesh

Before:

After:

sadly after editing i noticed her braid isn't coming out of the right position, also her neck doesn't connect to her head ( as she doesn't have an actual neck hole )

If this is a Lara with joints, she does need the neckhole and the ponytail hole.
And then the vertices of those holes probably need to be remapped.
